Job summary

JAC Recruitment International is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturing client in Johor. The role focuses on planning preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing issues, and delivering effective solutions to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or Bachelor's in Engineering with 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing; experience with food packaging is advantageous and strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

Industrial maintenance engineering experience preferred in manufacturing.
Experience with food processing / packaging is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for preventive maintenance and breakdowns.

Responsibilities

Plan and perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure smooth machinery operation.
Diagnose equipment issues, perform repairs, and minimize downtime with effective solutions.
Analyze failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Manage spare parts procurement and inventory to support maintenance.
Support operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plant.
Contribute to maintenance-related projects with internal stakeholders.
Update maintenance documentation to ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 standards.
