Job summary

TONGDA SMART TECH (MALAYSIA) Sdn Bhd – Kota, Kedah is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot and repair plastic injection molding machines spanning hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical types. You will perform routine maintenance on dryers, chillers, mold temperature controllers, air compressors, and conveyors to ensure smooth production.

Responsibilities include diagnosing faults across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and implementing corrective actions,

Qualifications

• Experience with plastic injection molding machines.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults.
• Capable of installing and commissioning new equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair injection molding machines (hydraulic, mechanical, electric).
• Carry out maintenance on dryers, chillers, mold temperature controllers, air compressors, and conveyors.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults and implement corrective actions.
• Replace defective parts such as valves, heaters, sensors, pumps, seals, and hydraulic components.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for molding machines and utilities.
• Maintain maintenance records and logs to track machine performance and service history.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults and implement corrective actions.

Replace defective parts such as valves, heaters, sensors, pumps, seals, and hydraulic components.

Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all molding machines and utilities.

Maintain maintenance records and logs to track machine performance and service history.

Identify potential issues before machine failure and suggest proactive measures.

Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.

Ensure proper machine alignment, calibration, and testing before production handover.
