Job summary

Toast Delight Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance & Production Technician to keep our food manufacturing line running smoothly. You will maintain, troubleshoot and support machinery and facility-related technical matters, with occasional production support when no maintenance tasks are required.

The role requires an SME mindset, hands-on repair ability, and readiness to work multi-functionally in a factory setting. Experience in food manufacturing is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Certificate / SKM / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Maintenance or a related technical field.
• Experience in machinery maintenance or a similar technical role is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical or electrical troubleshooting.
• Hands-on repair and maintenance capability.
• Willing to work in a multi-functional SME manufacturing environment and support Production/Packing when needed.
• Responsible, proactive and able to work independently.
• Good teamwork and willingness to support other departments.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
• Respond promptly to machine breakdowns and technical issues to minimise production downtime.
• Carry out preventive maintenance according to the Company’s maintenance schedule.
• Monitor machinery condition and identify potential issues before breakdowns occur.
• Assist with machine setup, adjustment, installation and testing when required.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance, repairs, servicing and machine condition.
• Monitor spare parts, tools and maintenance supplies and inform supervisor when replenishment is required.
• Liaise with external technicians, contractors or machine suppliers for specialised repair or servicing.
• Assist in identifying practical improvements to machinery, equipment and production processes.
• Support basic facility maintenance and other technical matters within the factory.

Job description

We Toast Delight Sdn. Bhd. are looking for a hands‑on and adaptable Maintenance & Production Technician to support the smooth operation of our food manufacturing facility. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain, troubleshoot and support the Company's machinery, equipment and facility‑related technical matters. As we operate in an SME manufacturing environment, technical maintenance may not be required throughout the entire working day. When there are no maintenance, repair or technical tasks requiring attention, the employee will be expected to support Production and Packing operations as part of the daily operational team.

Key responsibilities

Perform routine inspection, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of production machinery and equipment

About you

Certificate / SKM / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Maintenance or a related technical field is preferred

Previous experience in machinery maintenance, manufacturing or a similar technical role is an advantage

Basic knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting

Able to perform hands‑on repair and maintenance work

Willing to work in a multi‑functional SME manufacturing environment and assist Production / Packing operations when technical support is not required

Responsible, proactive and able to work independently

Good teamwork and willingness to support other departments when required

Experience in food manufacturing is an added advantage
