Aufgaben

• Perform routine inspections of building systems, equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs and potential issues
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other building infrastructure
• Respond to maintenance requests and repair issues in a timely and professional manner
• Execute minor repairs and maintenance work including fixing leaks, replacing fixtures, painting, and general upkeep
• Maintain comprehensive maintenance logs and documentation of all work completed
• Collaborate with contractors and service providers when specialised repairs are required
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and building regulations during all maintenance activities
• Maintain maintenance tools and equipment in good working condition
• Report any safety hazards or significant repairs needed to management
• Assist with general facility cleaning and grounds maintenance as required

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of building systems, equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs and potential issues

What we're looking for

• Strong knowledge of building systems including plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning
• Proficiency in using common maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and maintenance manuals
• Valid certifications or qualifications in relevant trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC or similar) are advantageous
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and take initiative
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship
• Reliable, punctual and professional demeanour with a strong work ethic
• Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with residents, tenants and colleagues
• Physical fitness and capability to perform tasks that may involve climbing, lifting and working in various conditions
• Willingness to undertake training and develop skills in new areas as required
