Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on machinery, equipment, and facilities. This role ensures smooth operations, reduces equipment downtime, and supports a safe working environment
Job Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance
Conduct regular checks on equipment and facilities to identify potential issues before they cause breakdowns.
Carry out repairs and troubleshooting
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, or technical problems efficiently to minimize operational disruption.
Maintain machinery and equipment in optimal condition
Ensure all machinery, tools, and systems operate safely and efficiently at all times.
Follow safety procedures and compliance standards
Adhere to all workplace safety regulations, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and report unsafe conditions.
Assist in planning and implementing maintenance schedules
Support supervisors in scheduling maintenance activities without affecting production or operations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work
Document inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities to track performance and support future planning.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors
Work closely with other maintenance staff and department personnel to achieve operational goals.
Support continuous improvement initiatives
Suggest improvements to maintenance procedures, efficiency, and reliability.
Coordinate with external vendors or contractors
Assist in managing third-party service providers when specialized maintenance or repairs are required.
Requirements:
Certificate or Diploma in Engineering or related field
1-3 years of maintenance experience (fresh graduates may be considered)
Basic technical and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems
Ability to follow instructions and work in a team
