Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate, set up, and maintain precision machines. You will read engineering drawings and blueprints, inspect finished parts, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes.

Minimum qualifications include at least an SPM and five years of relevant experience; strong understanding of machining, materials, tooling, and safety.

• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to perform precision machining operations.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet required specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC machinery and programs.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Train and mentor junior machinists and operators.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment while following all safety regulations and procedures.
• Continuously improve machining techniques and processes to enhance productivity and product quality.
