Job summary

EZColor Printing (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a machine operator to operate offset printing and die-cutting equipment, ensuring quality and efficient production. The role requires basic English and Malay, willingness to learn, and ability to monitor and adjust machines to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing job orders, reducing wastage, performing daily machine maintenance, and promptly addressing any machine issues with supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak and understand English and Malay.
• Willingness to learn and be flexible for shifts/overtime.

• Experience in Quality Control and maintaining production standards.

Job Description / Skop Pekerjaan

1. Operation of offset printing or die-cutting Machine / Pengendalian me sin percetakan offset atau mesin diecut

To be proficient in setting up and monitoring jobs on the offset printing machine or diecutting machine. On the job training will be provided to familiar yourself with the machines, but the operator must have some experience and knowledge about basic machineries.

2. Minimise Production Wastage & Defects / Mengurangkan pembaziran dan defect dalam proses pengeluaran

The operator must take action to reduce material wastage at the offset and die cut machines. You must also monitor the output processed by the machine to ensure that it meets our quality requirements. If you encounter any defects during the production process, the defects must be corrected immediately to minimise wastage. Operator harus mengambil tindakan untuk mengurangkan pembaziran material dekat mesin percetakan offset serta die cut. Anda juga mesti menjaga output yang diproses oleh mesin, supaya output mesin memenuhi keperluan quality kita. Jikalau anda menemui defect ketika proses pengeluaran, defect tersebut mesti dibaiki dengan segera untuk mengurangkan pembaziran material.

3. Review job orders / Menyesmak job order

Able to review job orders clearly. Each job order shall have the full details of the required job, and must be clearly understood by the operator. The operator must have a moderate understanding of written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Operator mesti memahami dan menyemak job sheet dengan teliti. Setiap job sheet akan mengandungi semua butiran untuk job tersebut. Operator mesti mahir dalam membaca dan memahami Bahasa English dengan Bahasa Malaysia.

4. Maintenance of the machine & preventive maintenance / Menjalani penyelenggaraan mesin

The operator must conduct proper daily cleaning and maintenence of the offset printing or diecut machines. Any issues with the machine must be reported to the Supervisor immediately upon discovery. Operator mesti memahami tentang fungsi mesin untuk menjalankan pembersihan harian dan penyelenggaraan yang betul dekat mesin. Sebarang masalah dengan mesin mesti dilaporkan kepada Penyelia dengan segera setelah dikesan.

5. Troubleshoot Equipment Issues / Menyelesaikan masalah mesin

If there is a machine issue or stoppage, the operator must be able to perform touble-shooting of the issues, and identify the main issue affecting the machine. The problem must be shared with the Supervisor for further action.

Kalau ada masalah dengan mesin, operator harus boleh mengenal pasti masalah tersebut dan menyelesaikan kalau boleh. Untuk isu yang lebih rumit, operator mesti melaporkan kepada Supervisor secepat mungkin.

Qualifications / Kelayakan

• SPM / Diploma
• Good health and able to speak and understand in English and Malay / Badan sihat dan dapat berfasir dalam Bahasa Inggeris dan Bahasa Melayu.
• Willingness to learn, responsible and flexibility to support shift or overtime work when required / bersedia untuk belajar, sikap bertanggungjawab serta fleksibel untuk bekerja mengikut syif atau melakukan kerja lebih masa apabila diperlukan
• Ability to operate and monitor machines / Berkemahiran dalam mengendalikan dan memantau mesin
• Experience in Quality Control, including inspecting finished products and maintaining production standards / Mempunyai pengalaman dalam Kawalan Kualiti
• Attention to detail, good problem-solving abilities, and a focus on workplace safety / Mempunyai kemahiran menyelesaikan masalah yang baik serta mengutamakan keselamatan di tempat kerja
• Prior experience in printing, manufacturing, or packaging environments is an advantage / Mempunyai pengalaman dalam bidang percetakan, pembuatan atau pembungkusan merupakan kelebihan
