Job summary

Eng Kah Enterprise Sdn Bhd, a leading toiletries manufacturer in Penang, is hiring a Maintenance Technician to execute preventive maintenance according to the Master Schedule, prepare and update checklists, and maintain machine specifications and spare parts lists.

You will troubleshoot machinery on the production floor, record findings and corrective actions, coordinate with contractors, manage spare parts inventory, and ensure safe, organized maintenance records and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• Experience in machine maintenance, preventive maintenance, or manufacturing environments advantageous.
• Knowledge of maintenance records, checklists, machine history records and spare parts management.
• Ability to coordinate with production personnel, suppliers, contractors and internal departments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance per the Master Schedule.
• Prepare, review and update maintenance checklists.
• Maintain machine specifications, instructions and spare parts lists.
• Troubleshoot machinery on the production floor.
• Record findings and corrective actions in maintenance records.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for repairs.
• Ensure housekeeping and safety after maintenance.
• Prepare monthly maintenance reports and schedule updates.
