Job summary

WCT Land is seeking a dedicated M&E Engineer to oversee mechanical and electrical works at our construction site in Larkinton JB. The role ensures M&E activities align with project specs, safety standards and schedules.

You will review drawings, monitor progress, coordinate with consultants and subcontractors, and support in inspections, testing and commissioning to maintain quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction site supervision or M&E works.
• Knowledge of M&E systems, installation standards and construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiar with local authority requirements and safety regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works on site.
• Review M&E drawings, technical specifications, and construction plans.
• Monitor site progress and ensure work quality complies with project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and project team.
• Conduct inspections, testing and commissioning of M&E systems.
• Identify and resolve technical and site issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Prepare site reports, progress updates and documentation.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical support when required.
