Job summary

China Communications Construction Company (M) Sdn. Bhd. (CCCC Malaysia) is seeking a Mechanical/Electrical (M&E) Engineer to supervise and monitor installation works on site, ensuring compliance with project specs and standards.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of M&E systems, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor M&E installation works on site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, drawings, and relevant standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review M&E shop drawings, technical submittals, material submissions, and method statements.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks, testing, and commissioning of M&E systems.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and coordinate with relevant parties for timely solutions.
• Monitor project progress and ensure M&E works are completed according to the approved schedule.
• Assist in preparing technical reports, inspection records, NCRs, and other project documentation.
• Ensure all M&E works comply with safety, quality, and project requirements.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate M&E-related matters with the project team and stakeholders.
