Job summary

LEK SOON ENGINEERING SDN BHD is seeking a Site Installation & Supervision Engineer to support M&E projects in Johor. You will assist in planning and execution of M&E works, coordinate with consultants and subcontractors, and ensure work complies with drawings, safety, and quality standards.

You will supervise installation of HVAC, electrical, lighting, and fire protection, monitor progress, and conduct site inspections.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering, Construction Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in M&E construction or building services.
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and manage tasks under tight deadlines.
Previous experience in a construction site role or engineering position preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning and execution of M&E works, including design, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Resolve technical issues and support design coordination throughout the project.
Monitor the delivery of materials and equipment to meet the project schedule.
Supervise installation of M&E systems such as HVAC, electrical, lighting, and fire protection.
Conduct site inspections and resolve site issues or discrepancies.
Test and commission M&E systems; prepare handover documents and support client handover.
