Job summary

Brikmen (M&E) Sdn. Bhd. is a Kuala Lumpur-based M&E contracting company seeking a Quantity Surveyor to handle tender submissions, cost estimation, VO management, and final accounts. The role may involve project coordination and general administration to support business growth.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree and at least 2 years of experience, with strong Excel skills and a proactive, independent work style in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, tendering, contract administration, or cost management.
• Experience in M&E projects is an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in tendering, cost estimation, variation orders (VO), and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate tender submissions for M&E projects.
• Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare cost estimates, tender analysis, and project budgets.
• Prepare, negotiate, and manage Variation Orders (VO).
• Prepare and finalize Final Accounts with clients and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs and support commercial cost control.
• Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost optimization.
• Assist in contract administration and commercial documentation.
• Attend site visits, measurements, and project meetings when required.
• Assist with project documentation, coordination, and general administrative tasks as required to support business operations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
