Job summary

GREENLIFE AGRITECH (SARAWAK) SDN. BHD. is seeking a skilled M&E Engineer to manage installation, maintenance and improvement works across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pumps, generators and related systems in Kuching, Sarawak.

The role plans and monitors preventive maintenance, conducts inspections for reliability and safety, responds to breakdowns, and coordinates with contractors to ensure timely, compliant completion of works. Minimum degree in ME/EE and 3 years' experience required.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess a Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience.
• Self-motivated person and able to work independently.
• Required to travel as and when assign.

Responsibilities

• Manage M&E installation, maintenance and improvement works across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pumps, generators, motors, machinery and other building and facility systems.
• Plan and monitor preventive and scheduled maintenance programmes, including regular site and equipment inspections to ensure equipment reliability, safety and operational continuity.
• Attend to breakdowns, equipment failures and emergency maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize downtime.
• Supervise and coordinate M&E repair, servicing, installation, testing and commissioning works, ensuring compliance with required standards, specifications, safety requirements and timelines.
• Coordinate with relevant counterparts, operational teams, contractors and service providers to resolve M&E issues and ensure the quality and timely completion of maintenance and engineering works.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules, SOPs, engineering protocols and safety procedures, and ensure proper documentation, compliance and maintenance records are maintained.
• Assist in M&E improvement, upgrading, renovation and expansion projects, provide technical support to operational and maintenance teams, and ensure all assigned works are properly followed up and closed on time.
