Job summary

ENS Group of Companies invites an M&E engineer to join its building services team. The role covers design coordination, site supervision, and quality checks across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

You will review drawings, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and project specs while coordinating with consultants and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or building services engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant M&E experience in building construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems including HVAC, plumbing, sanitary, fire protection, electrical services.
• Able to read and interpret M&E drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Familiar with Testing & Commissioning, authority inspections, and building services requirements.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all M&E works to ensure project schedule, quality, and technical specs.
• Review M&E drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and submissions prior to implementation.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities on M&E matters.
• Oversee installation of mechanical and electrical systems including HVAC, plumbing, sanitary, fire protection, electrical, ELV, and other services.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure M&E works comply with drawings, specs, and statutory requirements.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, workmanship, materials, and installation progress.
• Coordinate Testing & Commissioning, authority inspections, defect rectification, and final handover.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and clashes between M&E and other disciplines.
• Prepare M&E progress reports, site records, inspection reports, and project documentation.
• Ensure all M&E works comply with QA/QC, safety regulations, and company standards.
