Job summary

Pamir Development Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Project Engineer (M&E) to join our Johor Bahru project team. This role focuses on M&E coordination, coordination drawings and site progress for high-rise residential and commercial buildings.

You will coordinate M&E works with consultants and subcontractors, manage subcontractors on technical coordination and progress, and rely on advanced AutoCAD skills to prepare and amend drawings.

Qualifications

• M&E coordination experience in building projects.
• Strong ability to coordinate with consultants and contractors.
• Experience in electrical, ELV, ACMV/HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.
• Ability to read architectural, structural and M&E drawings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E works with consultants, subcontractors and site teams.
• Manage M&E subcontractors on technical coordination, submissions, installation and progress.
• Prepare, review and coordinate M&E coordination/shop drawings and identify clashes with other trades.

• Resolve M&E technical, coordination and site issues to minimise delays.
• Coordinate builders' work, testing, commissioning, authority inspections and handover.
• Attend technical and progress meetings and follow up on outstanding matters.

What You'll Be Doing

Coordinate M&E works with consultants, subcontractors and site teams.

Manage M&E subcontractors on technical coordination, submissions, installation and work progress.

Prepare, review and coordinateM&E coordination/shop drawingsand identify clashes with architectural and structural works.

UseAutoCAD at an advanced levelto independently prepare and amend coordination drawings.

Monitor site installation and progress against the project programme.

Resolve M&E technical, coordination and site issues to minimise rework and delays.

Coordinate builders' work, testing & commissioning, authority inspections and handover.

Attend technical and progress meetings and follow up on outstanding matters.

What We're Looking For

Degree/Diploma inElectrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineeringor related field.

Minimum5 years of M&E experience in building construction.

Experience inhigh-rise residential and/or commercial projects.

Advanced AutoCAD skills with the ability to independently prepare M&E coordination drawings.

Good knowledge of electrical, ELV, ACMV/HVAC, plumbing, sanitary and fire protection systems.

Able to read and coordinate architectural, structural and M&E drawings.

Strong insubcontractor management, site coordination and progress monitoring.

Good communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
