Job summary

China State Construction & Engineering Malaysia Sdn Bhd seeks an on-site M&E coordinator to prepare and monitor M&E documentation, review drawings, and coordinate with subcontractors and project teams.

The candidate should have a Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least three years on-site experience in high-rise or factory projects, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years on-site experience in relevant fields (high-rise/factory projects) is an advantage.
• Strong ability to review and analyze drawings.
• Good interpersonal and coordination skills with Clients, Consultants, Project Teams and Subcontractors.
• Detail-oriented and a team player with a positive attitude.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor M&E documentations.
• Coordinate with Subcontractors for submittals and shop drawings.

Job description

To coordinate with Subcontractors for ensuring technical submittal and shop drawing requirements are fulfilled.

To conduct daily inspection to ensure quality and standard of works and installations are adhered to drawings.

To monitor and supervise M&E work progress on site as per schedule.

To study and review construction drawings and shop drawings.

To liaise with Client, Consultants, Project Teams and Subcontractors.

Undertake any ad-hoc assignments as directed by the supervising manager.

Job Requirement:

Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field

Having at least three years of working experience at relevant field, having experience of working on site under high- rise building and factory project will add an advantage.

Having strong ability of reviewing and analyzing drawings will add another advantage.

Good in interpersonal skill, able to communicate and coordinate effectively with Client, Consultants, Project Teams and Subcontractors.

Hihh detail-oriented and work as team player with good working attitude.
