Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a responsible technician to test and commission low voltage switchgear. The role involves understanding schematic, wiring diagrams, and switchboard assemblies, followed by routine verification according to IEC 61439-1/2.

They will program and commission LV components such as breakers and protection devices based on manuals, conduct comprehensive tests, collect data, and ensure final products meet customer specifications before declaration of Finish Goods.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• Min 1 year LV switchgear experience preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Comprehend diagrams and perform function tests on switchboards.
• Conduct routine verification per IEC 61439-1/2.
• Program and commission LV components per manuals/work instructions.
• Perform dielectric, insulation, primary/secondary injection tests and functional tests.
• Record testing results and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Report incompliances to engineers and managers.
