Job summary

The Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas is seeking a Housekeeping Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support across the department, ensuring smooth daily operations and superior guest experiences.

You will coordinate room status updates, guest requests, work orders, and scheduling while liaising with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and other departments to uphold luxury hospitality standards and brand expectations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily housekeeping operations and distribute room assignments to Room Attendants.
• Monitor room status and ensure timely communication of clean, inspected, vacant, occupied, and out-of-order rooms.
• Liaise closely with Front Office regarding room readiness, VIP arrivals, early check-ins, and late departures.
• Maintain accurate records of room discrepancies and coordinate follow-up actions.
• Track and prioritize guest requests, special amenities, and service recovery actions.
• Ensure work orders and maintenance requests are promptly communicated to the Engineering Department and followed up until completion.
