Frencken Mechatronics (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a reliable Lorry Driver in Malaysia to safely transport goods between company facilities, suppliers, and customers, ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
You will perform routine vehicle checks, load and unload when required, keep accurate delivery records, and coordinate with Warehouse and Logistics teams to meet schedules.
The Lorry Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, materials, and equipment between company facilities, suppliers, customers, and designated locations. The role ensures compliance with road safety regulations, company policies, and delivery schedules while maintaining the assigned vehicle in good operating condition.
Safely operate company lorries and vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and company policies.
Deliver and collect materials, components, finished goods, and documents as assigned.
Ensure goods are loaded, secured, and transported safely to prevent damage during transit.
Verify delivery orders, invoices, and other shipping documents before and after delivery.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any defects, maintenance requirements, or safety concerns.
Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
Assist with loading and unloading activities when required.
Coordinate with Warehouse, Logistics, Procurement, and Production teams to ensure smooth transportation activities.
Ensure timely completion of deliveries and collections according to schedule.
Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, mileage, and delivery documentation.
Comply with company safety, environmental, and quality management requirements.
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
At least 2 years of experience as a lorry driver, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment
Experience driving lorries above 3 tonnes and possess a valid driving license relevant to the vehicle class.
Familiar with local routes and transportation regulations.
Able to operate forklifts is an added advantage.
Physically fit and able to handle loading and unloading activities when required.
Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willing to work overtime, weekends, or travel outstation when required.
Experience handling delivery documentation and inventory records.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with ISO, safety, or manufacturing environment requirements is an advantage.
