Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks an Import/Export Coordinator to manage customs reports for importation after MIDA approval and SST applications. You will coordinate bookings for import and export via courier and freight forwarders in Penang.

Responsibilities include following up on shipment status, handling special projects, and ensuring shipped products are timely and match customer orders, while maintaining detailed records and communicating with internal customers.

Qualifications

• Familiar with Incoterm.
• Familiar with customs rules and regulations for movement from PCA to overseas & special areas (FIZ & LMW) and vice versa.
• Knowledge of personal computers and ability to learn and use applications specific to this area.
• Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records.
• Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal customers.

Responsibilities

• Submitting reports to customs for importation after receiving MIDA approval & SST application.
• Coordinate booking for import & export via courier and freight forwarder
• Follow up with the courier and freight forwarder on shipment status
• Works on special projects as assigned.
• Ensures products shipped are timely and match customer order.
