Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Logistics Executive in the Purchasing / Logistic & Store department, reporting to the Purchasing / Logistic & Store Senior Manager. The role involves coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, managing inventory, and ensuring customs compliance.

Key duties include preparing import/export documents (shipping invoices, AWB, declarations), liaising with customs authorities, developing vendor and carrier relationships, monitoring logistics performance, and supporting

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Logistic Management.
• Minimum 2 years related working experience in Logistic or warehouse.
• Good negotiation skills & able to communicate well.
• Trustworthy & high integrity.
• Able to work under tight schedules & pressure.
• Proficiency in Windows-based applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook).
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing and category management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage a broad range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates inbound/outbound shipments, manages inventory, and ensures customs compliance.
• Preparing import/export documentation including shipping invoices, AWB and import/export declarations, liaise with customs authorities for clearance.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products & services that meet customer requirement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, carriers and other couriers.
• Monitor and report on logistic performance metrics.
• Collaborate with other department to supports overall business plan / objectives.
• Work closely with external stakeholders like forwarders and warehouse providers.
• Liaise with customs officers on reports, licenses, and other relevant documents.
• Analyse innovative logistics solutions that address customer needs.
• Develop alternatives to enhance operational policies, standards and procedures.
