Job summary

L&R Logistics is seeking an experienced Logistics Planner for its Yong Peng Branch to drive transport efficiency, route planning, and fleet utilization. You will lead daily route planning, cargo consolidation, and truck capacity optimization to ensure seamless deliveries while maintaining precise data in our Maslog system.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in transport planning or related fields, with knowledge of Johor’s road network and strong MS Excel skills.

Qualifications

SPM, STPM, or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or related fields.
1–3 years of experience in transport planning, route optimization, or fleet coordination.
Good knowledge of local road networks in Johor and Peninsular Malaysia.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Maslog or TMS experience is a plus).

Responsibilities

Route Planning & Optimization: Execute daily delivery road plans and optimize multi-client routes to maximize truck payload capacity and cost-efficiency per trip.
Driver Supervision: Supervise branch drivers, coordinate dispatches, and resolve on-the-road operational issues promptly to maintain high On-Time Delivery (OTD) rates.
System & Data Tracking: Maintain daily Excel tracking sheets and update live trip data accurately in the Maslog system.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate closely with branch warehouse and administration teams to ensure smooth daily fleet execution.
Client Coordination: Liaise with clients and operations teams regarding delivery statuses, shipment updates, and operational exceptions.
