Job summary

J&T Express Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Route Planning Executive to optimize our logistics network. The role focuses on designing, monitoring, and improving trunk and branch line operations to ensure cost efficiency, reliability, and excellence in service.

You will develop standards for vehicle selection and route planning, analyze traffic distribution, and prepare periodic planning proposals while managing hub schedules and capacity.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, International Trade, Logistics Management, or related fields preferred.
• Possess working experience in logistic company.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Knowledge of SQL, GIS, CAD, or related software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, monitor, and improve trunk and branch line operations for cost efficiency and service reliability.
• Drive reduction of single-ticket transport costs and improve schedule execution rates.
• Develop standards for trunk line vehicle selection, operating models, load capacity, and route planning processes.
• Establish and refine overtime vehicle dispatch standards and optimize hub slot settings.
• Analyze traffic flow distribution and prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly route planning proposals.
• Deliver peak season and holiday route planning solutions according to timelines.
• Manage daily trunk and branch line scheduling including departures, arrivals, and vehicle types.
