Job summary

Fraser and Neave Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Procurement Manager to lead logistics-related procurement, including transportation, sea freight, and 3PL warehousing. You will develop supplier strategies and manage contracts to support distribution and customer service goals.

The role focuses on achieving cost efficiency, service excellence, and compliance across domestic and international logistics operations, with collaboration across Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience managing logistics-related procurement categories.
• Experience in transportation, sea/air freight, 3PL warehousing, and related services.
• Strong contract negotiation and supplier management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for logistics and distribution services.
• Lead RFQ/RFP and contract negotiations with providers.
• Monitor market trends, rates, and service levels to optimize cost and service.
• Manage warehousing, transportation, and international logistics contracts.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, SLAs and KPI requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth.
