Job summary

Excel Freight Management in Malaysia is seeking an Operation Planner to develop and implement comprehensive operational plans to optimise the flow of goods and resources. The role coordinates transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to meet customer demands and analyses data for improvements.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, monitor KPIs, and provide guidance to the operations team to ensure high-quality service delivery in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an Operation Planner or logistics planning role, or fresh graduate.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to optimise operations and drive continuous improvement.
• Proficient in using logistics management software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
• Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing comprehensive operational plans to optimise the flow of goods and resources.
• Coordinating and scheduling transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to meet customer demands.
• Analysing data and identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address logistical challenges and find innovative solutions.
• Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators to ensure the operations are running smoothly.
• Providing guidance and support to the operations team to ensure they deliver high-quality service.
• Receive customer order and prepare the daily plan.
• Communicate to drivers for dedicated order.
• Monitor lorry location thru GPS system.
