Job summary

BEST Global Logistics Technology (Malaysia) is seeking a Regional Network Operations Manager to lead daily operations of franchise outlets within the region, ensuring adherence to standards and policies and driving improvements in network performance and coverage.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration and at least 3 years of experience in logistics or last-mile delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in logistics, courier, express delivery or last-mile delivery operations.
• Experience in franchise network management, regional operations or team management is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of logistics outlet operations and key operational quality indicators.
• Excellent communication, coordination, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong leadership, responsibility and results-oriented mindset.
• Willing to travel frequently for outlet visits.
• Good command of English; ability to communicate in Chinese and/or Bahasa Malaysia is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Regional Network Operations Management: manage daily operations of franchise outlets within the region and ensure compliance with standards and policies.

• Cross-Functional Coordination & Issue Resolution: coordinate with departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve major issues.
• Cost & Compliance Management: monitor accounts receivable and ensure policy/regulation compliance.
• Team Management & Reporting: manage regional team and report performance to management.

Job description

Regional Network Operations Management
Manage the daily operations of franchise outlets within the assigned region, ensuring compliance with company operating standards, service requirements and management policies. Drive improvements in the overall operational capability and performance of the regional network.

Operations & Quality Management
Monitor key operational KPIs including delivery success rate, on-time delivery rate, overdue parcels, complaint rate, parcel loss/damage rate and claims. Analyse operational issues, identify root causes and drive franchise outlets to implement effective improvement plans.

Network Development & Optimization
Support the development, recruitment and evaluation of franchisees based on regional business needs. Drive coverage expansion in underserved areas and continuously optimize outlet locations, delivery coverage and resource allocation to improve network coverage and stability.

Business Growth & Performance
Work closely with franchise outlets to develop and implement business growth plans. Monitor parcel volume, revenue and overall business performance, while supporting customer acquisition, market expansion and regional business growth to improve outlet profitability.

Franchisee Management
Conduct regular visits to franchise outlets to assess manpower, vehicles, facilities, financial position and operational conditions. Identify business and operational risks and drive corrective actions. Provide coaching and follow-up support to outlets with operational or service performance issues.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Issue Resolution
Coordinate with franchise outlets, sorting centres, Operations, Customer Service, Finance and other relevant departments to ensure smooth operations. Handle major operational issues, customer complaints, network conflicts and other unexpected incidents in a timely and effective manner.

Cost & Compliance Management
Monitor franchisee accounts receivable, cost settlements, and other financial matters, and follow up on overdue payments. Ensure franchise outlets comply with company policies as well as applicable laws and regulations in Malaysia.

Team Management & Reporting
Manage the regional network management team, including task allocation, operational guidance, performance tracking and capability development. Prepare regular reports on regional operational performance, key issues and improvement progress for management review.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field. Candidates with relevant industry experience will also be considered.

At least 3 years of experience in logistics, courier, express delivery or last-mile delivery operations. Experience in franchise network management, regional operations or team management will be an advantage.

Strong understanding of logistics outlet operations and key operational quality indicators, with solid knowledge of franchisee management, last-mile delivery and regional network operations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify operational issues from data and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Excellent communication, coordination, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence franchisees to comply with company requirements.

Strong leadership skills, sense of responsibility and results-oriented mindset. Able to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Willing to travel frequently for outlet visits. Possession of a valid driving licence and ability to drive independently will be an advantage.

Good command of English. Ability to communicate in Chinese and/or Bahasa Malaysia will be an advantage.
