Job summary
Pantech Stainless & Alloy Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a Logistics Executive to manage logistics operations, coordinate transportation, and optimize distribution in Pasir Gudang, Johor. You will negotiate supplier and carrier contracts, monitor inventory in the warehouse, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and improve overall supply chain performance.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of inventory management and basic computer literacy (MS Office, Windows, Internet)
- Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin conversational
- Custom clearance and export/import experience helps
- Able to work in Pasir Gudang, Johor
Responsibilities
- Manage logistics operations and coordinate transportation activities
- Monitor movement of goods to ensure on-time delivery
- Negotiate and establish contracts with suppliers, carriers and customers
- Monitor and manage warehouse inventory levels
- Develop and implement distribution strategies
- Monitor and optimize supply chain processes
- Analyze and report logistics performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Oversee loading/unloading of goods
- Liaise with internal and external parties to resolve issues
