Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Internship in Logistics to support daily shipping operations, including import/export and local deliveries. You will liaise with production teams to ensure on-time deliveries and prepare shipping documentation.

Responsibilities include sourcing freight services, coordinating with customs, and maintaining ISO-compliant records. Diploma or degree internship in logistics or related field preferred; strong communication and coordination skills required.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily shipping operations to ensure smooth and timely import/export and local deliveries.
• Source and secure competitive freight and forwarding services in terms of cost and quality to meet delivery schedules and cost efficiency targets.
• Prepare all relevant shipping and logistics documentation for customs clearance, exemption applications, and related processes.
• Coordinate with production and installation teams to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Liaise with customs and relevant government authorities (e.g., FMM, MIDA, MITI) for shipping document and exemption applications.
• Monitor and evaluate forwarding agents to ensure service performance meets departmental Performance Indicators (PIs).
• Compile and maintain all shipping documentation in compliance with ISO procedures.
