Job summary

JLL in Penang is offering a Logistics & Industrial Intern position to support the Leasing Advisory team. You will conduct market research, maintain property databases, and assist in preparing investment options and marketing materials for leasing opportunities.

The role provides hands-on experience in industrial real estate, with exposure to due diligence, client-facing documents, and internal coordination within a global real estate firm.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance or Economics.
• Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail; proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication for client-facing materials.
• Self-motivated with organizational skills; able to manage multiple tasks independently.
• Interest in logistics, industrial real estate, supply chain dynamics and investment analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research on logistics and industrial real estate trends in Penang and the broader region.
• Maintain and update the database of tracked L&I buildings with accurate specifications.
• Assist in building investment options for Capital Markets transactions, including due diligence support.
• Prepare pitch decks, proposals, and marketing materials for leasing opportunities.
• Provide research and administrative support, including organizing documentation and coordinating internal information gathering.
