Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for our Medini Johor facility in Malaysia. This full-time role acts as the operational backbone of warehousing, storage and distribution, coordinating between warehouse, transport and clients to ensure timely, accurate delivery.

You will manage daily operations, monitor stock movements, handle shipping documents, and support continuous improvement while maintaining health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a logistics coordinator or similar warehouse operations role.
• Proficient with WMS and MS Office applications.
• Strong English communication skills; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and despatch of goods
• Manage inventory records and ensure accurate tracking of stock movements through our systems
• Liaise with transport providers to schedule pickups and deliveries in a timely manner
• Process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, delivery notes and customs documentation as required
• Monitor and communicate with clients regarding order status, delivery schedules and any issues or delays
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure optimal space utilisation and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in warehouse management systems and databases
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
• Troubleshoot logistics issues and implement solutions to minimise disruptions
• Assist in training and mentoring junior warehouse staff as required
