Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Lead in Malaysia to oversee all inventory control activities within the warehouse and drive accuracy and compliance. You will lead the inventory team, manage cycles, audits, and KPI delivery, and serve as the escalation point for inventory issues.

You will implement best practices, coordinate with customer requirements, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and accuracy metrics across the operation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of warehouse inventory management experience.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Excel and inventory analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Inventory Control team to achieve inventory accuracy.
• Oversee all inventory transactions and stock reconciliations.
• Plan cycle counts, wall-to-wall stock takes, and audits.
• Analyze inventory KPIs and prepare performance reports.
• Drive process improvements and Kaizen initiatives.
• Develop and maintain training materials and SOPs.
