Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support site logistics for complex construction projects in Kuala Lumpur. You will coordinate material deliveries, access, crane movements, and liaise with contractors and vendors to keep schedules on track.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Logistics or related field and a minimum of 5 years of construction logistics experience, with strong planning and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction logistics, site coordination, or project support roles.
• Experience supporting Industrial, Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, or High-Tech Facility projects is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Coordinate site logistics activities, including material deliveries, equipment movements, storage, and site access.
• Develop and maintain logistics plans, traffic management plans, and delivery schedules.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, vendors, and project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Monitor site access, vehicle movements, laydown areas, and material storage locations.
• Coordinate crane utilization, lifting activities, and heavy equipment movements with stakeholders.
• Ensure logistics operations comply with project safety requirements, site regulations, and security procedures.
• Identify and mitigate logistics-related risks, delays, and site congestion issues.
• Track logistics performance and provide regular progress reports to project management.

• Experience supporting Industrial, Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, or High-Tech Facility projects is preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction site logistics, material handling, and access management.
• Familiarity with site safety requirements and logistics planning processes.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
