Job summary

dormakaba Malaysia is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to manage end-to-end inbound and outbound shipping, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, and ensure on-time delivery for a manufacturing environment.

The role focuses on regulatory compliance for LMW, import/export licensing, and monthly/yearly reporting, while supporting purchasing and planning functions to secure raw materials and maintain accurate shipment visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field is required.
• 3–5 years’ experience in logistics activities, preferably in manufacturing or MNC environments.
• Experience managing import/export licensing and regulatory compliance in Malaysia.

Factory Location : PLO 217, Jalan Siber 10, Kawasan Perindustrian Senai,81400 Senai, Johor,Malaysia.

Manage inbound and outbound logistics for the company, including shipping planning and coordination with internal stakeholders and external third parties, ensuring the logistics and compliance functions operate effectively as both a strategic and operational enabler.

Arrange shipping and land transportation, including tracking, expediting, and delivery follow-up of all shipments.

Liaise with freight forwarders, customs, and customers on all import/export of goods.

Prepare, process, and update import/export documentation, permits, and forms received from freight forwarders.

Manage LMW monthly and yearly reporting, ensuring timely submission and compliance with customs regulations; process LMW applications and liaise with authorities.

Support purchasing and planning functions in securing raw materials, spare parts, and consumable items.

Maintain shipment and sales tracking reports, providing accurate visibility to management and stakeholders.

Continuously improving the order fulfillment process, focusing on perfect order, cycle time, delivery time, and productivity.

Act as point of contact with customers to ensure delivery commitments are met, resolving issues proactively.

Ensure timely purchase order drafting and sales order posting within agreed timelines.

Upholding the company’s standards in environmental protection, workplace safety, and sustainability governance is a core responsibility.

Requirements:

• Strong industry knowledge, contingency planning skills, and analytical capability.
