Job summary

Private Advertiser in Sabah is seeking a Lodge Manager to oversee daily operations, staff performance, and high service standards across meals, housekeeping and guest relations.

You will coordinate with departments, work with Human Resources on staffing and training, supervise contractors, ensure safety and cleanliness, and report to the Managing Director to keep the lodge well run. This role requires hands-on leadership and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Meeting with Department Heads on a daily, weekly, monthly basis to discuss operations, staffing and training.
• Preparing reports and conducting weekly Department Head Meetings.
• Provide a welcoming lodge environment for our customers with high standards of service, meals and housekeeping which meet the company’s expectations.
• Working with Human Resources to provide staffing, training and any disciplinary actions as laid out by Company policies and procedures.
• Ensuring that the Lodge is a safe, healthy and positive living and working environment for its staff, visitors, and guests.
• Coordinating with contractors, working groups, and delivery services to complete maintenance work and receive supplies at the Lodge.
• Communicate and report to Managing Director on a regular basis in line with company requirements.
• Gain a clear understanding of the Lodge Manager’s duties and ensure that these are carried out to the company standards.
• Monitor staff performance to ensure that guests are happy and the lodge is well run.
• Any other task assigned by the Management from time to time (Related to your nature of employment)
