Ashley Furniture HomeStore in Shah Alam seeks a charismatic Live Stream Host to bring our home furnishings to life on major e-commerce platforms. You’ll engage viewers, demonstrate products, and drive real-time sales from the Ashley studio.

Based at the Fella Design HQ in Bukit Subang, Shah Alam, you will collaborate with Marketing and Operations to ensure a polished, brand-consistent livestream experience.

Responsibilities

• On-Camera Hosting: serve as primary host for live streaming sessions on social platforms.
• Product Demonstration & Selling: showcase furniture and decor with clear features and selling points.
• Audience Engagement: interact with viewers, respond to chat questions, build a loyal online community.
• Sales Conversion & Pacing: promote flash sales and limited-time offers with persuasive CTAs.
• Content Collaboration: work with Marketing and Operations to review run-of-shows and scripts.
• Brand Representation: maintain Ashley’s brand voice—professional, relatable, and inspiring.

We are looking for a charismatic, high-energy Live Stream Host to be the digital face and voice of Ashley on our primary e-commerce platforms. While our Live Stream Operations team manages the technical backend, you will take center stage—bringing our home furnishings to life, engaging directly with our online audience, and driving real-time sales. If you have a passion for home styling, a natural ability to captivate an audience, and a strong sales drive, you will be the key to growing our live commerce presence. Based at Ashley Furniture HomeStore office in Fella Design HQ at Bukit Subang, Shah Alam.

Key Responsibilities

• On-Camera Hosting: Serve as the primary, front-facing host for live streaming sessions on TikTok, Shopee Live, Lazada, and other social media platforms.
• Product Demonstration & Selling: Showcase Ashley’s furniture and home decor pieces interactively. Clearly articulate product features, styling tips, materials, and unique selling points to drive excitement and real-time conversions.
• Audience Engagement: Actively interact with viewers by responding to chat questions (relayed by the Operations Specialist), giving shoutouts, and building a loyal, energetic online community.
• Sales Conversion & Pacing: Effectively promote flash sales, exclusive live-stream vouchers, and limited-time offers. Use persuasive calls-to-action (CTAs) and create a sense of urgency to hit stream sales targets.
• Content Collaboration: Partner with the Marketing team and your Live Stream Operations counterpart to review run-of-shows, scripts, and promotional hooks before going live.
• Brand Representation: Ensure that all on-camera communication strictly aligns with Ashley’s brand voice—maintaining a professional, relatable, and inspiring tone at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience in live stream hosting, on-camera presentation, retail sales, or influencer marketing.
• Charisma & Communication: Exceptional verbal communication skills with a highly energetic and approachable on-camera presence.
• Quick Thinking: Ability to improvise, handle live audience questions confidently, and pivot sales tactics on the fly based on viewer engagement and cues from the floor director.
• Industry Passion: A genuine interest in interior design, home styling, and the furniture retail industry to speak authentically about our products.
• Stamina: Comfortable talking, standing, and maintaining high energy levels for extended broadcast periods.
