Job summary

Glad2Glow Malaysia is seeking a Live Streaming Host Trainer to set GMV targets, train hosts, and drive performance. You will monitor metrics, develop SOPs, and provide feedback to improve outcomes across all live sessions.

The role requires leadership, sales know-how, and a solid understanding of platform regulations for live-streaming on major platforms. Strong training and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of proven work experience as Live Streaming Host/Live Streaming Host Trainer or related role.
• Diploma or equivalent education in a relevant field.
• Proven leadership abilities to guide, mentor and motivate hosts.
• Sales expertise to train and support hosts in achieving sales goals.
• Understanding of platform rules and best practices for live-streaming on platforms such as TikTok and Shopee.

Responsibilities

• Set and monitor GMV targets for each live host and implement improvement strategies.
• Continuously track host performance metrics to align with business objectives.
• Provide comprehensive training on communication, appearance, engagement techniques, and live-streaming skills.
• Create and implement Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistency and quality across live sessions.
• Conduct regular host performance testing and provide constructive feedback and targeted improvement plans.
• Establish and monitor personalized KPIs for each host, reporting outcomes to management.
• Prepare and update daily performance reports including GMV data and KPI results.

• Set and Monitor GMV Targets: Establish clear GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) targets for each live host, monitor individual performance metrics, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
• Performance Tracking and Analysis: Continuously track and analyze the performance metrics of live hosts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and targets.
• Host Training & Development: Provide comprehensive training for hosts, focusing on key areas such as communication, appearance, engagement techniques, and live-streaming skills. Ensure all hosts are equipped with the tools and techniques for success.
• Create and Implement SOPs: Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure hosts adhere to established best practices, maintaining consistency and quality across all live sessions.
• Host Performance Testing & Feedback: Conduct regular testing of hosts' live performance to identify areas of improvement, provide constructive feedback, and create targeted improvement plans.
• KPI Setting & Tracking: Establish personalized Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each live streaming host, ensuring clarity in performance expectations. Regularly monitor and report on host achievements against these KPIs.
• Daily Reporting to Operation Management: Prepare and update daily performance reports, summarizing host activities, GMV data, KPI results, and any noteworthy performance insights for Live Streaming Operation management.
