HELMSMAN SDN BHD is a crystal company based in Kuala Lumpur, and we are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our growing team as a Live Host or Live Host Assistant.

As a Live Host, you will introduce and showcase our products through engaging live streaming sessions, interact with customers, and create an enjoyable shopping experience.

No previous live hosting experience? No problem! If you are interested in the industry but prefer to start by learning, you are welcome to join us as or also can try with live host assistant role, where you can gain hands-on experience and gradually develop your confidence and hosting skills.

Key responsibilities

For Live Hosts:

• Host engaging and interactive live streaming sessions to introduce and promote our products.
• Present and demonstrate products, explaining their features, designs, qualities and unique characteristics.
• Interact with viewers, answer customer enquiries, and create a friendly and enjoyable live shopping experience.
• Encourage customer engagement and support sales performance during live sessions.
• Work closely with the team to plan live streaming content, product presentations and promotional activities.
• Build positive relationships with customers and encourage repeat purchases.
• Assist in reviewing live streaming performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.

For Live Host Assistants:

• Assist Live Hosts with daily live streaming preparation and operations.
• Help organise, arrange and preparation before and during live sessions.
• Support the team by monitoring customer enquiries, comments and product information during broadcasts.
• Learn about different products, their features and how to present them effectively.
• Assist with basic live streaming equipment, product displays and other operational tasks.
• Observe and learn live hosting techniques, customer communication and sales presentation skills.

Gradually develop the skills and confidence needed to become a Live Host, with guidance and practical experience.

What we're looking for

• Experienced or beginners Live Hosts or fresh graduates and candidates without previous live streaming experience are welcome to apply.
• Friendly, enthusiastic and willing to communicate with people.
• Interested in live streaming, social media, sales or the crystal industry.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work well with others.
• Responsible, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Previous experience in live streaming, retail, sales or customer service is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of crystals is not required, as product knowledge can be learned through training and hands-on experience.
