Job summary

Akarui Workshop is seeking a Live Streaming Host to manage and host livestream sessions on TikTok Shop, Shopee Live, and other platforms. You will plan scripts, engage with viewers, and coordinate with the content and marketing teams.

We welcome fresh graduates. The role requires confidence, energy, and comfort on camera, with BM/EN language skills. On-site studio work and weekend schedules are part of the job, with prior sales/retail experience a plus.

• Able to speak Bahasa Malaysia and/or English.
• Experience promoting or selling household products and home appliances is preferred.
• Willing to work on-site at the livestream studio.
• Willing to work according to the assigned livestream schedule, including weekends when required.

Job description

To provide services as a live streamer service and shall cover including but not limited to social media, and any other broadcasting media appearance, attending meeting, training, production works such as pre-production photo/short video shooting, recordings, rehearsal and post production work such as dubbings, voice over and editing, if applicable, and all other related services for all accounts that is to be determined at the employer’s discretion.

Manage and comply with the TikTok live stream calendar, plan and conduct live streaming to ensure that all live streams are done on time and meet the quality and standard.

Prepare scripts & visual assets for hosting live streaming events, Q&A sessions, and other types of interactive events during live streaming sessions.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content that aligns with the overall marketing strategy.

To understand the product description, follow the content of the show and coordinate well with the content team/social media support team.

Optimize TikTok live streaming content for engagement and visibility, and use data-driven insights to improve live sessions content performance

Stay up-to-date on the latest TikTok trends and best practices, apply them to content creation and planning for live streaming sessions. Host live-streaming sessions on TikTok Shop, Shopee Live, and other social media platforms.

Job Requirements:

Minimum SPM or equivalent.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Previous live-hosting, sales, or retail experience is an advantage.

Confident, cheerful, energetic, and comfortable in front of the camera.
