Mamma Mia in Malaysia is seeking a skilled cook with 1–3+ years of Western casual-dining experience to join our busy kitchen in Johor Bahru. You will handle stove cookery, pan sauces, and oven operations during service.

Salary ranges from 2,500–3,000 RM based on experience, with shift patterns including Tue–Fri and Sat–Sun, and a Monday rest day. Join our team to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes for a vibrant dining crowd.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of experience in Western, casual dining or high-volume bistro environments.
• Proven experience with stove cookery, pan sauce reduction and commercial oven operation.
• Sharp attention to detail and good time management during peak hours.

• Prepare and cook dishes to menu specifications with consistency.
• Operate stove, pan sauces and ovens efficiently during service.

Working hours:

• Tuesday – Friday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM and 6: 00 PM to 10 PM
• Monday: Rest Day / Closed

Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in a Western, casual dining, or high-volume bistro environment.

Technical Skills: Proven experience with stove cookery (temping steaks, searing fish), pan sauce reduction, and commercial oven operation.

Work Ethic: Sharp attention to detail, and good time management during peak hours.
