Elsa Talent is seeking an experienced structural engineer for offshore lifting operations in Miri, Malaysia. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, 8+ years in engineering and commissioning, with at least 5 years in a similar position, and strong knowledge of lifting analyses and drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering and commissioning experience, including at least 5 years in a similar position.
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering, offshore lifting operations, and lifting analysis.
• Proficient in interpreting structural drawings and preparing engineering calculations and verifications.
• Familiar with offshore hook-up and commissioning activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical coordination skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform structural design analysis and engineering calculations for offshore lifting operations.
• Review structural drawings, structural cutting plans, and lifting analyses to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Establish soft mooring parameters and verify gangway procedures.
• Prepare job cards, work packs, and other engineering documentation for Hook-Up and Commissioning (HUC) activities.
• Provide engineering support and perform fieldwork during HUC execution.
• Ensure all lifting and structural engineering activities comply with applicable project specifications, company standards, and safety requirements.
