Job summary

Base Maintenance Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (BMM) is seeking Licensed Aircraft Engineers (LAEs) holding a CAAM license to join our team, with at least 2 years of certifying experience.

Requirements include B1.1 or B2 license with type rating acceptable to CAA Malaysia, and minimum 3 years as Cat B approval holder for A350 with Trent XWB engine. Candidates with Cat C authorization for A350 type ratings would have advantages; authorizations in A350/B777/B787 are preferred.

Qualifications

• Holder of B1.1 or B2 license with CAAM type rating.
• Minimum 3 years as Cat B approval holder for A350 certification.
• Comprehensive knowledge of type rated aircraft systems and regulatory requirements.
• Cat C authorization with A350 type ratings would be advantageous.
• Authorizations in A350 / B777 / B787 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a maintenance team and perform maintenance tasks on aircraft per OEM procedures and authority regulations.

B1.1 Aircraft Maintenance License (CAAM)

B2 Aircraft Maintenance License (CAAM)

CAAM license with certifying experience

Cat B authorization for A350 certification

A350 certification experience

Trent XWB engine experience

Authorizations in A350 / B777 / B787

• Comprehensive knowledge of type rated aircraft systems and familiarity with regulatory requirements.
• Candidate holding a Cat C authorization with A350 type ratings would have advantages
• Authorizations in any of the aircraft types will be preferred A350 / B777 / B787

Your deployment will be based on your previous experience.

As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer in BMM, you will lead a maintenance team and be responsible for successfully carrying out maintenance tasks on an aircraft in accordance with OEM procedures, manual and authority regulations.
