Job summary

Ng Chan Mau & Co. Sdn Bhd is seeking a qualified lawyer to manage auction-related documentation and provide legal oversight in a Kuala Lumpur setting.

You will review and verify documents, liaise with banks, lawyers, and authorities, and guide a drafting team to ensure compliance with laws and court requirements. The role requires at least 3 years PQE in conveyancing, fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English, and strong drafting and communication skills.

Qualifications

• LLB degree holder with admission to the Malaysian Bar.
• Minimum 3 years PQE with conveyancing experience (property development and financing).
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and oral, with strong drafting skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision while being a quick learner.
• Analytical, with strong writing and communication abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint).
• Motivated, responsible, team player, open to new challenges and innovations.

This role involves managing and overseeing auction-related documentation, reviewing and verifying legal documentation, and liaising with corporate clients including banks, lawyers, and relevant authorities. You will provide legal oversight to ensure compliance with applicable laws, court requirements, and internal service standards, identify and prevent legal and operational risks, and lead and supervise a legal documents drafting team.

About you
