Job summary

SENTRAL College Penang is seeking qualified and passionate lecturers for Accounting & IT/Computer Science to join our academic team. The role involves delivering lectures, developing materials, and mentoring students to uphold high academic standards.

Successful candidates will hold a Bachelor’s in Accounting or IT/CS and may have a Master’s or professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA). Industry and teaching experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Master’s Degree or professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
• Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Master’s Degree or PhD is an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in software development, system design or related areas is highly desirable.
• Teaching experience in Computer Science or Software Engineering is an advantage.

Provide academic guidance, mentoring, and pastoral support to students.

Ensure teaching and learning activities meet the required academic and quality standards.

Participate in curriculum development, academic activities, extracurricular activities, and College events as required.

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Master’s Degree or professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA, or equivalent is an added advantage.

Relevant teaching and/or industry experience is preferred.

Strong knowledge of accounting-related subjects.

Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
