Job summary

BAC Asia in Malaysia is seeking a Production Supervisor to manage daily production in discrete manufacturing, focusing on mechanical assembly, flow, and process improvement. You will lead shopfloor teams, enforce work instructions and safety rules, and ensure on-time delivery.

You will coordinate resources, monitor bottlenecks, drive Lean initiatives, and partner with ME, Quality, Maintenance, Planning and Supply Chain to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in production supervision in a discrete manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience in mechanical assembly operations required.
• Experience in Lean manufacturing, flow manufacturing, process optimization and continuous improvement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily production activities according to production plan and customer demand.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment and other resources for stable output and on-time delivery.
• Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to reduce delays and rework.
• Drive performance on safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost and inventory metrics.
• Collaborate with ME, Quality, Maintenance, Planning and Supply Chain to resolve issues.
