Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Industrial Engineer to perform time studies, establish standard operation times, and develop process capacity and line balancing analysis.

You will support NPI and engineering changes with manpower and cycle time studies, conduct bottleneck analyses, and drive continuous improvement in collaboration with production and planning teams to ensure smooth line loading and achievement of output targets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field.
  • 2–5 years’ experience in manufacturing IE role.
  • Skilled in time study, capacity planning, and process analysis.
  • Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and other IE-related tools.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Able to work in fast-paced and dynamic production environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform time study and establish standard operation time (SOT) for each process.
  • Develop and maintain process capacity and line balancing analysis.
  • Support NPI and engineering change with manpower and cycle time studies.
  • Conduct bottleneck analysis and propose improvement actions.
  • Assist in layout improvement, motion study, and method optimization.
  • Work closely with production and planning teams to ensure smooth line loading and output achievement.
  • Monitor and report OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and productivity metrics.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and cost-saving projects.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all time study and process analysis reports.
