Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Human Capital Development Consultant to partner with leaders, diagnose capability gaps, and design practical learning solutions that drive measurable outcomes.

The role blends consulting, facilitation and learning design, delivering leadership, management and professional development programmes, evaluating effectiveness, coaching leaders, and translating insights into sustainable organizational growth.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in HRM/Business Studies or equivalent.
• HRD Corp Accredited Trainer (TTT) is preferred.
• Experience in corporate training, public workshops, or educational roles.
• Relevant work experience in learning and development or a leadership role.
• Experience of designing and implementing leadership and management development programmes, coaching or mentoring.
• Excellent track record of delivering engaging and informative training interventions.
• Excellent facilitation skills which encourage participation and appropriate challenge of participants.
• Ability to work independently whilst also supporting and drawing on resources across the wider department.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful with a strong sense of initiative.
• Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and maintains strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to understand capability needs.
• Conduct Training Needs Analysis and diagnose root causes.
• Translate business requirements into learning solutions.
• Provide professional recommendations and challenge stakeholders where training may not be the best solution.
• Design and develop leadership, management and soft skills programmes.
• Develop learning journeys, materials and activities.
• Deliver engaging and outcome-focused training.
• Facilitate workshops, discussions, simulations and role plays.
• Manage learning projects with stakeholders and external vendors where required.
• Measure learning effectiveness and business impact.
• Provide coaching and post-training interventions.
• Support ad hoc projects as required.
