Nexperia is seeking an experienced engineer to lead a technical team overseeing RODI and wastewater treatment systems at our Seremban site. You will ensure reliable operation, drive improvements for manufacturing support, and manage capital projects with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Environmental or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Water/Wastewater Treatment, Utilities or Facilities Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of RODI, RO, IX/DI and WWTP operations.
• Experience in water treatment system design, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret PFDs and P&IDs.
• Experience with PLC, SCADA and automation control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of EH&S and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage a team of technicians for RODI and wastewater systems.
• Ensure reliable operation and maintenance of water treatment systems.
• Drive capacity planning, upgrades, and improvements for manufacturing needs.
• Implement reliability, safety, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Monitor system performance to maintain water quality and efficiency.
• Establish SOPs, maintenance standards, and monitoring practices.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analyses.
• Manage SCADA monitoring for RODI and WWTP operations.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, authorities, and stakeholders.
• Manage water-treatment-related projects and major shutdowns.
• Provide emergency and after-hours support when needed.
