Job summary

HFG Insurance Recruitment in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) seeks a Testing Automation Manager to lead and scale test automation across multiple technology projects, embedding automated testing into the software development lifecycle and establishing robust frameworks.

You will drive automation strategy, mentor teams, integrate with CI/CD, and collaborate with development, business and operations to improve reliability and release velocity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in test automation, quality engineering, software testing or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience in test automation frameworks and automation strategy development.
• Proven experience leading and managing automation testing teams across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test automation strategies, roadmaps and frameworks aligned with business and technology objectives.
• Drive the design, implementation and continuous improvement of scalable, reusable and maintainable automation frameworks.
• Lead, mentor and develop automation testing teams across multiple projects and initiatives.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster releases.
• Establish testing standards, governance and quality metrics to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Development, Business, Infrastructure and Project teams to align testing priorities and manage quality risks.
• Identify opportunities to optimise testing processes and strengthen automation across applications.
• Track automation effectiveness and provide updates and recommendations to stakeholders.
