Job summary

Icrest in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Training & Development Leader to design, deliver, and manage company-wide technical and non-technical training programs. You will create curricula, coordinate instructors, and align training with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 6 To 9 years of experience managing people.
• 2+ years’ experience with Data Center related architecture, electrical and thermal systems, safety and security and all related procedures.
• Good time management skills, public speaking skills, problem-solving skills and both verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in word processing and presentation software
• Ability to operate media equipment such as projectors and personal computers
• Knowledge about traditional and modern training methods and techniques
• Exceptional organization skills, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with a team and have attention to detail
• Knowledgeable about learning management systems, instructional design and e-learning platforms
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and assess and analyze data
• Ability to evaluate needs and present effective learning and performance solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create training schedules for all company departments, track and create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records for the company.
• Train new hires on company policies and procedures and use the best training methods for a specific purpose or audience.
• Lead a team of instructors to design, develop and deliver technical training and development programs.
• Develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders to support curriculum development.
• Design training programs to ensure training transfer on the job, including pre-work, lectures, labs, post-work, exams and on-the-job plans.
• Assist to design and develop training strategy for the organization including onboarding, refresh training, training for new products and enhancements.
