Job summary

SOLS Energy Sdn Bhd seeks a Senior Wireman to lead rooftop solar PV installations, owning the electrical scope end-to-end from AC/DC wiring to testing and handover. You will manage a crew on site, ensure safety, compliance, and quality, and develop installers toward certification.

You will work on residential and small commercial rooftops, ensuring adherence to design, MSEE/MS regulations, and customer satisfaction while guiding the team to complete jobs efficiently on a single visit where

Qualifications

• Valid PW4 Certificate of Competency (Three-Phase Wireman) issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on electrical wiring experience.
• Proven team-leading experience — at least 2 years on site.
• Strong practical knowledge of single-phase and three-phase LV wiring, distribution boards, protection devices and earthing.
• Able to read and work from single-line diagrams (SLDs).
• Competent with electrical test equipment (insulation resistance tester, multimeter, clamp meter, earth tester).
• Physically fit and comfortable working at height on rooftops.
• Valid Malaysian driving licence (Class D) and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead your installation team on site: brief, assign tasks, set pace and ensure plan is followed.
• Supervise installers’ work and check quality before departure.
• Manage daily schedule to hit the on-site targets and complete jobs in one visit where possible.
• Maintain discipline, attendance and PPE; elevate recurring issues to management.
• Act as the single point of contact for Operations, Technical and Logistics teams.
• Train and coach installers and apprentices on safe methods and standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure proper reporting, documentation and handover to customers.
